Looking for a special handmade Valentine Gift?
Come to a party at Van Gogh’s Ear Gallery on
Friday February 1st from 6-9pm and
immerse yourself in the possibilities of
exquisite handmade artwork. Featured artists
Adam Homan (metal sculptor) and Alex Horst and
Chelsea Stone (jewelry artists) will be
unveiling an exciting body of new work sure to
tickle the fancy of that special someone.
Adam Homan
combines ancient armor-making skills with modern
welding and finishing processes to create a new
breed of steel sculpture. Many of his
figurative pieces include fluorescent fiber
optic which gives his pieces an ethereal glow.
Alex Horst uniquely combines hand-carved
gemstones with gold and silver, creating
modernist sculptural jewelry. Chelsea Stone
cleverly combines cast glass, colorful enamels
and textured metal to create wearable artwork
with a twist. Be sure to wear something red to
this special event, and watch out for Cupid’s
arrows.
The show runs February 1st through
March 3 at 156B. South Montezuma Street in the
heart of Whiskey Row in downtown Prescott.
